Nom français : Pigeon de montagne de Nouvelle-Guinée

Status in captivity : Extremely rare in captivity and only shown in a couple of European zoos. Apparently absent from American and Asian collections. Very rarely bred.

Remarks : A breeding pair lives in an aviary in the first tropical hall.
